“Bright Stars” Early Preschool Program – Level 3

18 months – 24 months
In our Level 3 early preschool program, we maintain a ratio of 1 caregiver to 4 children. Children make great developmental strides as their vocabulary begins to expand rapidly as teachers introduce daily circle time with stories and songs. Children are also given opportunities to develop their gross motor development and social development skills outdoors through parachute play, bicycles and climbing structures. At this stage of development, toddlers will be introduced to their potty-training program, and as children begin to gain autonomy, which helps them to recognize themselves as separate individuals, caregivers will continue to instill confidence as children are preparing to enter the entry-level preschool program.

“Shining Stars” Early STEAM² Preschool Program – Level 4

24 months to 36 months
In our Level 4 youngest preschool group, we offer a ratio of 1 caregiver to 6 children. At this age, the potty-training process continues while the children participate in daily lessons in language development utilizing the early principles of STEAM² (science, technology, engineering, creative art, mathematics, music & movement). Mini learning centers are designed to provide both shared and independent learning opportunities. Children are building their fine motor skills by manipulating various writing instruments and tracing. Computers are introduced at this level as a learning tool that helps preschoolers gain an appreciation for technology. Children are also introduced to cognitive skills such as auditory and visual processing, sequencing, sorting, matching, counting, etc. Children’s language development continues as they begin to share stories and recite their favorite songs.
