“Rising Stars” Transitional Kindergarten STEAM² Program – Level 5
36 months to 4 ½ Years
In the Level 5 transitional kindergarten group, we offer a ratio of 1 caregiver to 8 children. At this age, potty training is fully completed, and children continue their daily lessons in language, and STEAM² (i.e., science, technology, engineering, art, math, & music) which are now used firsthand by the children and become a valuable learning tool. Cognitive skills will be challenged through the use of manipulatives and games. Children are often very inquisitive at this age and are offered a variety of opportunities to ask questions to assist in formulating answers and solutions.
“Super Stars” Full STEAM² Kindergarten Preparation Program – Level 6
4-½ Years – 5 ½ Years
Our Level 6 Full STEAM² Kindergarten Preparation Program is the last step that children will take before entering Elementary school. At this level, we offer a ratio of 1 Teacher to 8 children. Our Full STEAM² Kindergarten Preparation program was specifically designed to meet and often exceed all Kindergarten entrance requirements. Our children are offered an advanced curriculum in STEAM², along with studies in history, geography, current events, numbers (1 – 100), letters (uppercase, lowercase, vowels, and consonants), and much more. Children advance their language skills to include rhyming and sight words. Complex math skills include patterning, estimation, and prediction, along with instructional activities about the various states and capitals.
